埃德蒙多·德斯诺斯，Renowned Cuban writer, author of the novel Memorias del Subdesarrollo (1968) aka Memories of Underdevelopment, which was adapted into a seminal Latin-American film by the late great Tomás Gutiérrez Alea During the sixties and seventies he also performed as an art critic and wrote many essays. He lives in New York since 1979.
