约翰·肯尼迪（1917年5月29日—1963年11月22日，全名 约翰·菲茨杰尔德·肯尼迪/John Fitzgerald Kennedy，也被称作约翰·F·肯尼迪/John F. Kennedy、杰克·肯尼迪/Jack Kennedy、JFK），出生于美国 马萨诸塞州布鲁克莱恩，爱尔兰裔美国政治家、军人，第35任 美国总统。 1940年，肯尼迪从 哈佛大学毕业。1940年加入美国陆军。1948年至1950年担任众议员。1957年获得 普利策奖。1960年当选为第35任美国总统。 1961年1月20日到1963年11月22日在总统任期内，肯尼迪奉行“新边疆”政策，扩大社会福利，发展教育事业；创建了和平队；在经济方面进行一系列改革。 1963年11月22日，肯尼迪遇刺身亡，11月25日遗体被安葬在华盛顿国家公墓。逝世后有很多纪念活动和建筑，包括 纽约肯尼迪国际机场、 肯尼迪号航空母舰、 哈佛大学肯尼迪政治学院、 约翰·肯尼迪图书馆等。 （概述图来源：白宫历史协会官网）
