Sebastien Skubala was born in Queensland, Australia. At 5 years old he made his screen debut as a background actor in The Boys Are Back (2009). At aged 9 he started appearing in commercials and was cast in the short film Janos, which made its world premiere at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival.
