简介

1998年，《警界威龙》在美国哥伦比亚广播公司播出时，曾长时间雄踞美国电视收视榜榜首位置。洪金宝也凭借此剧在美国影视界打开了一片新天地。洪金宝在剧中办案的最大特点是，他不用枪械，全靠拳脚真功夫，顺手抓起任何东西，都可以当做武器使用。洪金宝在剧中精彩的表现，引起了美国观众的极大反响，甚至一度在全美掀起了一股功夫热潮。《警界威龙》中，洪金宝扮演身手敏捷、办案神速的侦探龙山虎，他的同事陈佩佩在调查一个庞大犯罪集团时失踪了。为此，龙山虎来到洛杉矶，协助洛杉矶警局办案。他被安排与重案组 K elly和Louis合作，三人设法寻找黑社会头子李黑与陈佩佩……该剧云集了中国香港以及好莱坞顶尖的台前幕后精英，耗资巨大，是一部情节曲折、打斗场面火爆的警匪剧。
